Common questions
Frequently asked questions
One label is one annotated object instance in one image frame. A bounding box around a car in a frame counts as one label. A polygon around a person counts as one label. Keypoints for a full skeleton on a figure count as one label. A frame with three objects annotated counts as three labels.
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period. Unused labels from your current period do not carry over when upgrading.
On the Free plan, new annotation jobs are paused until the next billing cycle. On Pro, you can enable overflow billing at $0.001 per additional label, or upgrade to Scale for unlimited volume.
Your raw frames are processed in-memory during the AI pre-labeling step and are not stored persistently on Annotgrove infrastructure. Completed annotation data (labels and metadata) is stored on Annotgrove's servers for export and versioning. You can delete your data at any time from the dashboard or via the API. Scale plan customers can configure data residency requirements.
Yes. Teams with large-volume annotation needs can request a guided pilot through the Scale tier. We typically run 30-day pilots with a dedicated onboarding session and a sample batch from your actual dataset to demonstrate real-world accuracy.
